The Cats Are Taking Over (Politely… and Probably Napping Midway Through)
We have some exciting mews to share; Gallery 39 is going to the cats!
After fostering kittens in the shop for a local rescue, we realized that art + cats = instant happiness (and maybe a bit of fur). So we’re turning the gallery into a cozy, cat-friendly space where adoptable cats can lounge among the artwork, and visitors can come enjoy both fine art and finer whiskers.
We’ll be adding comfy benches with secret cat cubbies, a new safety entry system (because some of our critics have quick paws), and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests, artists, and felines alike.
Visitors will soon be able to book 50-minute visits to hang out with the cats and view art (all art is best viewed whilst surrounded by the calm inspiration of purring muses).
If you’d like to help us make this transformation happen, we’ve launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for the renovations. Every contribution, big or small, helps us create a space where art meets paw.
